Burges Salmon provides national and international clients with a full commercial service through 6 main departments: Corporate & Financial Institutions (CFI); Commercial; Property; Tax & Trusts; Commercial Disputes & Construction (CDC); and Agriculture, Property Litigation & Environment (APLE). Specialist areas include: Banking; EU & Competition; Planning; Corporate Finance; Employment; IP & IT; and Transport. The firm is ranked top tier by Chambers and Partners for 15 of its practice areas. Burges Salmon runs 2 open days in February, and offers 40 two-week vacation placements during the summer. Individuals visit 2 departments of their choice supervised by a partner or senior solicitor, and attend court visits and client meetings.
