More About MIP, Politecnico di Milano

MIP was established in 1979 as a collaboration between Politecnico di Milano, one of the leading technical universities in Europe, and some leading organizations operating in Italy. The engineering tradition and technology leadership of Politecnico di Milano allows MIP access to up-and-coming technology, to play a key role in innovation and to be at the forefront of company growth and technological investment.
The International MBA is a 14-month program taught in English. It equips participants with strong competencies that will accompany them throughout their career, and provides the special mix of technical and management skills required to develop and lead world-class companies in a range of sectors. The course focuses on 4 fundamental elements: analytical approach to problem solving, innovation and technology, soft skills, and collaboration with our wide company network.
Students can customise their program choosing from 5 concentrations: Finance, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Design & Luxury Management, Global Business & Management, and Energy Management or can complete electives abroad under the International Exchange Program (schools in USA, Greece, France, Mexico, Germany, China etc). The School of Management is EQUIS accredited and the International MBA is ranked in the 2011 FT Global MBA Rankings.
The tuition fee is €26,000 + €1,700 (university taxes).
Project Work
Not the “usual internship”, Project Work is a full-time, three-month experience working inside a company or consultancy firm and is an opportunity for students to experiment and apply the content learnt during the classroom component of the course to real-life situations. Students have set tasks to complete and goals to fulfil and the project is tailored to meet both the needs of the company and the student. Project Work may actually lead to a job offer in the host company at the completion of the project.
MIP’s Career Service is one of a kind
Students work alongside key stakeholders within important organizations, challenging themselves in real-life business situations and consulting projects. Personal development is key and students receive professional counselling during both the program and recruitment process.
